Rockstar Games has packed every Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer and screenshot with tiny details, and fans believe they’ve uncovered another exciting feature hiding in plain sight.

A new breakdown shared by the GTA community suggests that basketball and American football could play a much bigger role in GTA 6 than many initially expected.

From team jerseys and championship merchandise to what appears to be a fully modelled basketball arena, the evidence is starting to pile up.

While Rockstar has yet to officially confirm any sports-related gameplay, the growing list of clues has fans convinced that Vice City will have a much stronger sports culture than previous GTA games.

Vice City’s Sports Teams Are Everywhere

One of the biggest discoveries is the repeated appearance of fictional sports franchises throughout Rockstar’s promotional material.

The Vice City Manatees, a team clearly inspired by the Miami Dolphins, can be seen on jerseys worn by both the game’s cover girl and music producer DreQuan Priest.

Meanwhile, a member of the PTT Youngin$ gang is spotted wearing a Vice City Narcos jersey, a team that appears to draw heavy inspiration from the Miami Heat.

These aren’t just one-off easter eggs either.

Rockstar has featured both teams across multiple screenshots, suggesting they’re an established part of GTA 6’s version of Vice City.

Basketball Could Be Fully Playable

Perhaps the most interesting detail involves protagonist Jason.

One official screenshot shows a basketball hoop outside Jason’s house, while another captures him playing basketball alongside Cal.

Unlike decorative props seen in previous GTA titles, these images have led many fans to believe basketball won’t simply exist in the background—it could actually be a playable activity.

Rockstar hasn’t confirmed this feature, but the screenshots certainly suggest basketball is receiving far more attention than fans expected.

GTA 6 Includes a Miami Heat-Inspired Arena

The clues don’t stop there.

Fans have also identified what appears to be GTA 6’s version of Kaseya Center, the real-life home of the Miami Heat.

Rather than using the real venue, Rockstar has recreated it with its signature satirical twist.

In GTA 6, the arena is reportedly owned by Sahara, a fictional delivery company widely believed to parody Amazon.

Interestingly, Sahara’s logo also appears on Vice City Narcos jerseys, suggesting the company serves as the team’s official sponsor.

It’s another example of Rockstar building an interconnected world where corporations, sports teams and city culture all feel connected.

Vice City Narcos May Already Be Champions

One subtle detail has also caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.

In one screenshot, DreQuan Priest can be seen wearing a Vice City Narcos champions hat, complete with the team’s logo.

If the merchandise reflects in-game events, it could mean the Narcos have already won a championship before GTA 6’s story begins.

Whether this becomes part of the narrative or simply adds background world-building remains unknown, but it’s exactly the kind of environmental storytelling Rockstar is known for.

Fans Think Sports Will Feel More Alive Than Ever

Taken individually, each discovery might seem insignificant.

Together, however, they paint a picture of a Vice City where professional sports are woven into everyday life.

Team jerseys, sponsorships, championship merchandise, arenas and playable basketball all suggest Rockstar is making sports a much more visible part of the game’s world.

Many fans believe these details hint at expanded side activities beyond the main story, although Rockstar has yet to reveal exactly what players will be able to do.

With GTA 6 set to launch next year, every new screenshot continues to spark fresh theories—and if these clues are anything to go by, Vice City’s sports scene could end up being one of the game’s most immersive additions.
