GTA 6 fans have spotted a fun Call of Duty reference hidden in the game’s latest footage, and it brings back one of Rockstar’s funniest fictional games from GTA 5.

The detail was pointed out by a fan on Reddit, who noticed a San4San character wearing a “Slaughter Hood Ops” T-shirt.

The shirt appears to show a soldier in a pose that closely resembles the artwork used for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

For longtime GTA fans, the name Slaughter should immediately sound familiar.

The fictional game is Rockstar’s parody of military shooters and was already part of the world in GTA 5, where Jimmy can be seen playing Righteous Slaughter.

Rockstar has apparently kept that joke alive in GTA 6.

The new “Slaughter Hood Ops” design looks like another take on the same fictional game series, this time leaning more directly into the style of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

What makes the discovery more interesting is that fans noticed what appears to be Slaughter being shown on a TV in the GTA 6 Extended Look.

The Reddit poster pointed out that the game can reportedly be seen playing alongside other games on a television near the end of the footage.
