GTA 6 marketing is coming to Downtown Miami, with temporary promotional banners officially approved across a designated area of the city later this year.

According to the latest information, GTA 6 banners will be allowed throughout the designated Downtown Miami area from October 15 through December 31.

The timing is particularly interesting. With GTA 6 scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, Rockstar’s real-world marketing campaign could ramp up significantly in the weeks leading up to launch.

That means Miami residents and visitors could soon start seeing Grand Theft Auto 6 advertisements across the real-life city that inspired Vice City.

GTA 6 Banners Could Take Over Downtown Miami

The approved rules will allow temporary GTA 6 promotional banners to be displayed across the designated downtown area beginning October 15.

That gives Rockstar a window of more than two months to promote its biggest upcoming release directly in Miami.

The location is also perfect for GTA 6 marketing.

Rockstar’s fictional Vice City is heavily inspired by Miami, from its beaches and nightlife to its colorful buildings and streets.

Putting GTA 6 advertisements across the real city could create a pretty surreal sight for fans.

For anyone who has followed GTA 6’s development for years, seeing the game’s branding appear throughout Miami could make the release feel much more real.

And Rockstar could have some fun with it.

Displays larger than 5,000 square feet will reportedly require a $208,000 application fee, along with separate approval from the city.

For now, there is no confirmation that Rockstar plans to use displays larger than 5,000 square feet.
