Rockstar Games is turning Miami into a real-life version of GTA 6’s Vice City, with new banners, street advertisements, murals, and game-inspired cars appearing across the city.
The latest wave of promotions includes a building-sized banner in Downtown Miami, a convoy of custom vehicles filmed along Ocean Drive, and a collaboration that brings the fictional Burger Shot restaurant into real life.
With Grand Theft Auto VI scheduled to launch on November 19, Rockstar’s marketing campaign is becoming harder to miss.
The company has already brought Vice City branding to the Miami Heat’s arena, local beaches, digital advertising displays, and streets across South Florida. Now, more locations and businesses are joining the campaign.
New GTA 6 Banners and Street Ads Appear Across Miami
One of the latest sightings is a large banner stretching across a building in Downtown Miami, positioned near other advertisements featuring GTA 6 protagonists Jason and Lucia.
The campaign is also expanding to streetlight banners, adding more Vice City-inspired artwork to the city’s streets.
New murals have reportedly appeared in both Wynwood and the Little River neighborhood.
These additions follow Rockstar’s collaboration with Wynwood Walls, where artwork inspired by the game has already become part of the local art scene.
The fictional brands from GTA 6 are also appearing in real-world advertisements. Previous sightings have included companies such as Pfister, Kowalski, and Kronos, along with fictional television and radio brands.
A vehicle advertising RydeMe, the game’s fictional ride-hailing service inspired by apps such as Uber and Lyft, has also reportedly been spotted in Miami.
Rather than relying only on traditional billboards, Rockstar appears to be using a mix of street advertising, real vehicles, local businesses, and public spaces to make Vice City feel like part of the real world.
Rockstar Film Crew Spotted With GTA 6 Car Convoy on Ocean Drive

Another major sighting involves a film crew and a convoy of customized cars along Ocean Drive. The vehicles are styled after cars from the GTA universe, including sports cars and other designs that resemble those seen in the game’s promotional material.
Footage of the crew has fueled speculation that Rockstar is recording new promotional footage. Earlier reports also connected car filming in Miami to the Miami Heat’s upcoming “A Night in Vice City” event on November 18.
However, Rockstar has not officially confirmed that the Ocean Drive shoot is for a new GTA 6 trailer.
The footage could be connected to the Heat event or another part of the wider marketing campaign, so fans should not treat a new trailer as confirmed just yet.
If the footage is intended for a promotional video, it would give Rockstar another way to connect the game’s fictional cars with the streets that helped inspire Vice City.
Skinny Louie Is Bringing GTA 6’s Burger Shot Into Real Life
One of the most unusual parts of the campaign is the collaboration between Rockstar and Skinny Louie, a burger restaurant brand in South Florida. The partnership brings Burger Shot, one of Grand Theft Auto’s best-known fictional fast-food chains, into the real world.
The Burger Shot branding has already appeared at the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, where a food stand was transformed to resemble the restaurant from the GTA series.
The collaboration is now reportedly set to extend to Skinny Louie’s other branches across South Florida, including in-store branding and delivery promotions.
Fans have known Burger Shot as a recurring fictional restaurant throughout the Grand Theft Auto series. Its appearance in real life gives players a chance to see the game’s parody of a fast-food chain outside the screen.
The campaign also follows the appearance of Cluckin’ Bell, another fictional GTA restaurant, at the Kaseya Center.
Together, these promotions show how Rockstar is using familiar brands from its games to create real-world experiences for fans.

Vice Beach Sign and Muscle Beach Makeover Planned for November 1

Miami Beach is also preparing for a major GTA 6-themed makeover. According to documents reported by iGrandTheftAuto, several installations are scheduled to become active around November 1.
The plans include a giant pink “Vice Beach” sign in Lummus Park, a makeover for Muscle Beach, and a large VI sculpture.
The outdoor gym is expected to receive pink-painted workout equipment and Vice Beach branding, bringing the game’s bright visual style to a real Miami Beach location.
Another major part of the campaign involves transforming the W South Beach hotel into the fictional “Y Hotel.” New documents reportedly detail a $650,000 agreement covering hotel facade signage, a stylized “Y” logo installation, and a beachfront marketing activation.
The reported agreement divides that amount into three components: $300,000 for hotel facade signage, $150,000 for the Y logo, and $200,000 for beachfront marketing. The plans also include branded merchandise for beachfront food and drink services.
The Vice Beach sign and Muscle Beach makeover are scheduled for installation work in late October, with November 1 listed as the planned activation date. However, these projects remain subject to the required approvals, and the final installations may change.
Rockstar’s GTA 6 Marketing Is Expanding Beyond Trailers
Rockstar’s latest campaign is much more than a series of game advertisements. By working with local restaurants, placing fictional brands on streets, commissioning murals, and transforming real locations, the company is bringing parts of Vice City into Miami before players can explore the game.
The Miami Heat’s November 18 event is another major part of the campaign, taking place just one day before GTA 6’s scheduled release.
The growing number of real-world promotions suggests Rockstar is using the final weeks before launch to connect the game with the city that inspired its setting.
With new banners, Burger Shot branding, RydeMe advertisements, and the planned Vice Beach installations, more GTA 6-inspired sights could appear around South Florida as launch day approaches.
For now, the reported filming on Ocean Drive remains unconfirmed as a new trailer, while the November 1 Vice Beach activations are still subject to approvals.
