After staying quiet for more than two weeks, the Florida Joker (real name Lawrence Sullivan) is speaking up again.
He thinks his face was in the GTA 6 trailer and now wants a part in the game. He’s not planning to sue Rockstar Games right away, but if they don’t agree, he says he might sue them later.
Florida Joker demands a voice role in GTA 6, threatens to sue Rockstar otherwise
On January 23, 2024, the Florida Joker, famous for talking about GTA 6, posted a video on his TikTok profile @lawrence.sullivan0, making another request to Rockstar Games. In the video, he spoke to both Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, expressing his demands.
“I’m really not trying to sue y’all, so I’m going to give you an extra month. Hit me up. Let me voice the character… Give me more storyline in the game.”
The Florida Joker also requested “a few million” from Rockstar Games.
After the GTA 6 trailer was released in December 2023, the Florida Joker asked Rockstar Games for two million US dollars, claiming they used his likeness in the game. When he didn’t get a response, he increased the demand to five million. The Florida Joker also asserted that he played a role in making the upcoming title popular. His exact words were:
“Y’all see what I did for the game. We made news, we made the blogs, everybody’s covering me, everybody loves me, man! Everybody knows me as the GTA 6 Florida Joker…”
So, he requested a role in the game and money from the company. Although he said he didn’t want to sue, he mentioned he would if his demands weren’t met within a month. Rockstar Games has stayed quiet about the situation, but many in the community think the Florida Joker’s situation is similar to Lindsay Lohan’s and might end up in court if pursued.
