Cal Hampton is one of the key characters featured in GTA 6.
Cal is a close friend of Jason Duval, and both of them live in the Leonida Keys.
While Jason is more active and ambitious, Cal is the opposite—he enjoys a quiet life and spends most of his time at home diving deep into online conspiracy theories.
He loves tuning in to Coast Guard radio chatter, chilling at the bar, or relaxing in the pool with a cold beer. Cal doesn’t really chase bigger goals; he is comfortable with the life he already has.
In Trailer 2, Cal is shown helping with smuggling operations at Brian’s Boat Works & Marina.
Later, he appears wearing a shirt with the marina’s logo, suggesting he works with Brian Heder often.
Another moment in the trailer shows a different side of him—Cal seems lonely and eager for romance, asking someone off-screen to help him get a date with one of their friends.
