Sony has officially revealed two limited edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers, giving PlayStation fans a new way to celebrate Rockstar’s upcoming game.
The controllers were shown during the latest Sony State of Play livestream and come in two different designs: black and white.
Both are inspired by the look and feel of Vice City, with several small GTA 6 details built into the design.
The black GTA 6 DualSense controller is inspired by the bright nightlife of Vice City, while the white version represents Vice City during the day, with its white beaches, pastel skies and relaxed style.
Both controllers have a color-shifting finish that changes under the light. The design combines the colors of a Vice City sunset with the bright glow of neon lights, giving the controllers a look that fits GTA 6 perfectly.
Rockstar and PlayStation have also added some cool details that fans may not notice at first.
Both controllers feature palm tree leaf designs molded into the surface. The GTA 6 name is placed on the back, while the touchpad features the Roman numeral VI using the game’s familiar GTA-style font.
The touchpad also includes additional palm tree details, making the GTA 6 theme even more obvious.
The GTA 6 DualSense controllers will be available to pre-order on September 10 at 10 AM local time through PlayStation Direct.
The price is set at $84.99 in the US, ¥12,480 in Japan including tax, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK.
Both versions will officially launch on November 19, the same day GTA 6 arrives.
Sony has not said exactly how many controllers will be produced, so it is still unclear how limited this release will be. However, fans may want to move quickly when pre-orders open.
Previous limited edition PlayStation products have sold out very quickly, including the PS5 30th Anniversary collection.
Given how much attention GTA 6 is already getting, these controllers could be just as difficult to find after launch.
The timing of the announcement is also interesting.
It comes shortly after Rockstar’s huge GTA 6 Extended Look, which gave fans a much closer look at the game.
The reveal generated massive interest online, with millions of fans watching reactions and discussing the new gameplay footage.
The Extended Look showed more of Jason and Lucia, along with new details about the open world, side activities, the wanted system and the relationship between the two main characters.
Now, fans have another GTA 6 release to look forward to before the game itself arrives.
Interestingly, the GTA 6 DualSense trailer has also started getting attention because of its music.
Some fans believe the soundtrack used in the trailer could potentially be from GTA 6, although there has been no official confirmation yet.
For GTA fans planning to buy one, the biggest question now is how quickly these controllers will sell out.
With GTA 6 releasing on November 19, 2026, the new black and white DualSense controllers could become some of the most popular limited edition PlayStation accessories of the year.
