Rockstar Games appears to have accidentally revealed four GTA 6 island names before quickly removing them from an official image.

The names were spotted on the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition map, which was recently shown as part of Rockstar’s new Vice City merchandise collection.

Fans noticed four small islands on the map, with two names clearly readable as Sandbars and Crude Islands.

The other two island names were harder to read, but parts of the labels were visible.

One appeared to begin with “Dra…”, while another seemed to start with “Beld…”.

Fans quickly saved and shared the original image before Rockstar made any changes.

Rockstar has now removed the names from the map image, although the four island shapes are still visible.

That has naturally caught the attention of the GTA 6 community.

Rockstar has been very careful about revealing details about Leonida’s map, and the studio has not officially talked about these smaller islands or confirmed their names.

The timing makes the discovery even more interesting.

The map is part of the $399.99 Vice City Collection, which comes with several GTA 6-themed items, including clothing, accessories, collectibles and a double-sided poster showing the fictional state of Leonida.

The map itself gives fans another look at the size and layout of GTA 6’s world, including areas that Rockstar has not yet discussed in detail.

The two confirmed-looking names, Sandbars and Crude Islands, are already being discussed heavily by fans.

The other two names are much harder to identify, meaning there is still plenty of room for speculation about what they actually say.

Some fans have also tried connecting the partially visible names to locations that have appeared in GTA 6 map theories and community-made maps.

However, those connections remain unconfirmed and should not be treated as official information.

What makes this discovery especially interesting is Rockstar’s response.

Instead of leaving the image unchanged, the company appears to have edited the promotional material and removed the island names.

By the time the change was noticed, however, screenshots of the original version had already spread across social media.

This is not the first time GTA 6 fans have found extra information hidden in Rockstar’s promotional material.

With the game getting closer to release, even small details are being picked apart by the community.

The full GTA 6 map still has plenty of unanswered questions, and these four islands could add another piece to the puzzle.

For now, Sandbars and Crude Islands are the only two names that fans can clearly make out from the original image.

Rockstar has not confirmed whether these are the final names of the locations or explained what players will find there.

Still, the fact that Rockstar removed the names shortly after they were spotted has made the discovery even more interesting.

With GTA 6 launching on November 19, 2026, fans won’t have to wait much longer before these mystery locations can finally be explored.
