GTA 6 fans have found a tiny change in the game that is somehow being treated like one of Rockstar’s biggest upgrades yet.
After years of waiting for GTA 6, fans have seen plenty of impressive things in Rockstar’s latest footage.
Better graphics, more detailed characters, improved animations and a huge world are all expected.
But apparently, there is another feature that deserves just as much attention: commas in your money balance.
A recent post on the GTA 6 subreddit has fans joking about the way money is displayed in the upcoming game.
The post claims that GTA 6 will be the first game in the series to show money with commas, joking that it only took Rockstar 29 years to make it happen.
And the GTA community immediately ran with it.
One fan joked that they had already pre-ordered the game because of this discovery alone, while another simply replied, “Thank God.”
Others joked that this was the kind of next-generation feature they had been waiting for.
Of course, there is a small problem with the claim.
GTA 5 already shows comma-separated money in its pause menu.
One Reddit user pointed this out, although other players clarified that the money does not appear that way during normal gameplay.
That technicality did little to stop the jokes.
Some fans joked that the game could be delayed again just so Rockstar could spend more time working on commas.
Another player said the change would make large amounts of money much easier to read, which is probably the most reasonable argument in the entire discussion.
And honestly, they have a point.
Looking at a huge number without any spaces or commas can make it surprisingly difficult to tell how much money you actually have.
When GTA Online characters can end up carrying millions of dollars, being able to quickly read $1,000,000 instead of $1000000 is certainly easier on the eyes.
But the best part of the discussion is how seriously fans are pretending to take it.
After waiting years for GTA 6, the community has reached the point where even a small user interface change can become major news.
One commenter even joked that this could be the reason behind the game’s delay.
It is obviously not.
Still, this is exactly the kind of humor that has become common in the GTA 6 community.
With Rockstar revealing new details so slowly, fans have started turning even the smallest discoveries into something worth discussing.
And when the game has been delayed and anticipated for this long, maybe fans deserve to celebrate the little things.
At least GTA 6 players will finally be able to read their huge pile of virtual cash without counting every single digit.
That is progress, right?
