There are now just eight Thursdays left until GTA 6 launches, and Rockstar Games has quietly created an interesting pattern that has fans wondering what could be coming next.

Since the release of the GTA 6 Extended Look on August 27, Rockstar has had a major GTA 6 announcement or reveal on every Thursday.

The Extended Look was released on August 27, giving fans their biggest official look at GTA 6 since Trailer 2.

Rockstar confirmed that the footage was captured entirely from the PlayStation 5 version of the game.

Then the weekly announcements continued.

On September 3, Rockstar revealed the limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers, followed by the start of pre-orders on September 10.

Then, on September 17, Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track official soundtrack being released alongside the game.

Limited-edition vinyl and CD versions also went up for pre-order.

That brings the pattern to three consecutive Thursdays with major GTA 6 news.

What Could Rockstar Announce Next?

If Rockstar continues this pattern, there are only eight Thursdays remaining before GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026.

That gives the company plenty of opportunities to reveal more information about the game.

Possible announcements could include more gameplay details, additional music information, new merchandise, marketing campaigns, or other launch-related details.

The newly leaked GTA 6 merchandise lineup could also fit perfectly into this schedule.

Rockstar Store data has reportedly revealed more than 50 upcoming GTA 6 products, including T-shirts, hats, bags, stickers, collectibles and Vice City-themed merchandise.

However, Rockstar has not confirmed that these reveals will happen on Thursdays.

The pattern is based on what has happened over the past few weeks, so fans should not treat it as an official announcement schedule.

November 12 Is Already Important

There is one Thursday that is already confirmed to be significant: November 12.

Rockstar has officially confirmed that GTA 6 pre-loading will begin at local midnight on November 12 for digital pre-orders.

Physical versions will also start becoming available around November 12 and will contain a download code instead of a disc.

That means November 12 is exactly one week before GTA 6 launches.

With pre-loading beginning that day, Rockstar will need to have the game ready for players to download before the November 19 launch.

The official Rockstar Store currently lists November 12 as the start of pre-loading and November 19 as the game’s release date.

For now, the interesting part is simply how closely Rockstar’s recent announcements have lined up with Thursdays.

If the pattern continues, fans could be looking at a new GTA 6 announcement every Thursday for the next several weeks, potentially turning the final stretch before launch into one of the busiest periods in the game’s marketing campaign.
