GTA 6 is showing adult age ratings on PlayStation Store listings in several regions, giving fans another sign that Rockstar is getting closer to the game’s November launch.
The latest PlayStation Store advertising for Grand Theft Auto 6 has shown ratings including PEGI 18 in Europe and the UK, USK 18 in Germany, and D in Mexico.
A separate Australian listing briefly showed an X 18+ label, but that was later removed and appears to have been an error.
The ratings have appeared as Rockstar continues its final preparations for GTA 6, which is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026.
However, there is an important detail that fans should know before calling this a fully confirmed GTA 6 age rating.

The major ratings boards have not yet published a final GTA 6 classification.
The ESRB and PEGI databases still do not show a final rating for the game, while some official store pages continue to use wording such as “Rating Pending” or “Provisional.”
So while the PlayStation Store information is a strong sign that the rating process is moving forward, it is not the same as Rockstar officially announcing a final rating.
The most interesting part is the content attached to the reported rating.
The descriptors being linked to GTA 6 include Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol.
Those are the same seven content descriptors used for GTA 5’s ESRB rating, which means there is nothing here that should come as a huge surprise to longtime GTA fans.

Still, seeing these details appear so close to launch gives fans another look at the type of content Rockstar is preparing for GTA 6.
The game has already shown plenty of adult material in its official trailers and Extended Look footage.
Rockstar has shown shootings, robberies, drugs, alcohol, sexual themes, strong language and other mature situations throughout its promotional material.
The reported rating descriptors therefore fit the content that Rockstar has already shown.
The timing is also important.
GTA 6 is now less than two months away from release, with Rockstar preparing both digital and physical versions for the November 19 launch.
Rockstar’s own support page confirms that pre-loading is scheduled to begin on November 12, with physical copies containing download codes also becoming available that day.
That means Rockstar has to finish several important parts of the release process very soon, including regional certification, age ratings, store listings and final launch preparations.
Recent backend activity has already shown Rockstar preparing different regional versions of the game.
Reports have pointed to multiple regional product codes for the physical PS5 version, which could be connected to different market requirements.

The appearance of age ratings across PlayStation Store advertisements fits into that wider picture.
It also helps explain why fans are starting to believe that GTA 6 is getting close to the final stages of development.
But an age rating should not automatically be taken as proof that Rockstar has completely finished the game.
Games can still receive patches after certification, and developers can continue fixing bugs, improving performance and making other changes right up until launch.
A rating mainly shows that the publisher has submitted material for classification and that the release process is moving forward.
There is another interesting detail involving the United States.
The ESRB rating is still listed as pending, despite the game being only weeks away from release.
PlayStation’s US listing has previously shown the game as “ESRB Rating Pending,” while Xbox’s store currently displays a provisional PEGI 18 classification in some regions.

This means fans should be careful with claims that GTA 6 has officially received an ESRB M rating.
It has not been publicly posted as a final ESRB rating at the time of writing.
The same applies to claims that Rockstar has officially confirmed every content descriptor.
The seven descriptors are being reported alongside the PlayStation marketing material, but the final official ESRB entry has yet to appear in the public database.
Even so, the overall picture is becoming much clearer.
GTA 6 is clearly being treated as an adults-only game, just like previous mainline GTA titles.
The reported regional ratings and content details match what players have come to expect from Rockstar’s open-world crime series.
The appearance of these ratings is also another sign that Rockstar is moving deeper into its final launch preparations.
With GTA 6 releasing on November 19, 2026, the studio has only a short amount of time left to finish its marketing campaign and prepare the game for millions of players around the world.

So, while it would be too early to say that GTA 6 has received its final worldwide age rating, the new PlayStation Store listings are still an important development.
The game is getting its regional classifications, its store pages are being updated, pre-orders are already live, and Rockstar is preparing the physical and digital versions for launch.
After years of waiting, GTA 6 is finally entering the last stage before release.
And unless something changes, players will be able to enter Leonida when Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19, 2026.
