GTA 6 is almost finished being made, as Jason Schreier from Bloomberg says. He explains that the company making the game, Rockstar Games, wants its workers to come back to the office full-time starting in April 2024.

They want to make sure everyone is working well together and keep the game secret until it’s ready to be released.

GTA 6 development is about to be completed soon, per Bloomberg report

Jason Schreier just gave an update on something exciting for Grand Theft Auto fans who are eager to know about GTA 6. He shared that Bloomberg got a look at an email sent by Rockstar Games to its employees.

According to the report, Jenn Kolbe, who is the Head of Publishing at Rockstar, wrote this in the email:

Making these changes now puts us in the best position to deliver the next Grand Theft Auto at the level of quality and polish we know it requires, along with a publishing roadmap that matches the scale and ambition of the game.

Rockstar Games is making this move to prevent any big leaks about GTA 6 before it officially comes out in 2025. Even though they haven’t said when exactly the game will be released, fans think it might come out early next year.

A well-known insider named Ben thinks an early 2025 release for GTA 6 sounds likely after reading Bloomberg’s report. Here’s what he wrote in a post on X on February 29, 2024:

We’ll see what Take-Two says in May for the next final FY24 quarter, though.

Rockstar Games might release the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 before they announce the exact release date.

Fans noticed something interesting on February 2, 2024. The banner on American singer Anita Ward’s Spotify page was changed to show the Grand Theft Auto 6 logo. This made fans think that the second trailer for the game could be coming soon.

The next game in the series is set to come out in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and other gaming platforms.
