Rockstar Games has reportedly reminded GTA 6 actors that their NDAs remain in effect until the game’s release, meaning fans may have to wait until launch day to officially learn who voices many of the game’s characters.

The report comes from GTA VI O’Clock, which claims Rockstar recently sent a message to performers who worked on Grand Theft Auto 6 reminding them that they cannot publicly announce their involvement before November 19.

According to the report, the message told performers to remember their NDA and confirmed that November 19 is still the date when they can announce their involvement.

If the report is accurate, Rockstar is planning to keep its GTA 6 cast secret right up until the game’s release.

Stephen Root May Have Triggered the Reminder

The reported NDA reminder comes shortly after actor Stephen Root publicly confirmed that he is part of GTA 6.

Root, who is known for roles in King of the Hill and Barry, recently revealed that he appears in Rockstar’s upcoming game.

His distinctive voice had already led fans to identify him from GTA 6 footage, but Root became the first actor to publicly confirm his involvement.

Root reportedly explained that keeping the role secret had become difficult because so many people already knew him from King of the Hill and could recognize his voice.
