GTA 6 fans have received another reassuring update after Take-Two Interactive once again confirmed that the game is still on track for its planned release later this year.
The company has now filed the final version of its annual proxy statement, and one thing immediately stood out to fans.
The letter from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick is exactly the same as the preliminary version that was released 10 days earlier.
Most importantly, the company once again states that Grand Theft Auto 6 is planned to launch on 19 November 2026.
While the filing doesn’t reveal any new details about the game, fans see it as another positive sign.
Every time Take-Two releases an official financial document, the GTA community looks closely for any changes that could hint at a delay or a new release window.
This time, there weren’t any.
In his letter to shareholders, Zelnick says fiscal year 2027 has the potential to be a major year for Take-Two.
He says the company expects strong growth thanks to “groundbreaking entertainment experiences,” with the planned release of Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November playing a big role in those expectations.

Because the final filing is identical to the earlier version, many fans believe it shows that Take-Two remains confident in Rockstar Games’ current launch schedule.
The update comes at an important time, with Take-Two’s next earnings call just around the corner.
Many GTA fans are hoping Rockstar could share fresh news or even reveal GTA 6 Trailer 3 before or around the investor presentation, although neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has confirmed that any announcement is planned.
Even without new screenshots or a trailer, the latest filing has given fans another reason to stay optimistic.
If there had been any major change to GTA 6’s release plans, many expected it would have appeared in one of Take-Two’s official documents.
For now, that hasn’t happened.
Rockstar Games has remained quiet in recent weeks, but Take-Two’s latest filing once again points to the same target date.
As things stand today, Grand Theft Auto 6 is still scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026, and there is still no official sign of another delay.
