The Golf Club is a melee weapon that players can acquire in GTA 6. While it’s mainly used as sports equipment on golf courses, it can also double as a surprisingly effective close-range weapon when things get heated.
Players will likely find Golf Clubs around Golf Courses, where golf is expected to return as a side activity. Just like in past games, it can be picked up and used for self-defense or chaos on the streets.
The Golf Club first appeared in Vice City and later returned in San Andreas, Vice City Stories, and GTA 5. However, GTA 5 was the only game so far where players could actually play golf as a full activity.
In GTA 6, the Golf Club offers moderate power and long reach, making it an excellent choice for melee combat. Leaked footage also suggests that there will be multiple types of golf clubs—including Drivers, Putters, Irons, and Wedges—though the specific differences between them haven’t been revealed yet.
While the Golf Club hasn’t been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, it did appear in the September 2022 leaks, giving fans a good reason to believe it will return in the final version of the game.
