Tear Gas

The Tear Gas is a thrown weapon that players can use in GTA 6. This classic gas grenade first appeared in the original Vice City, later returning in San Andreas, GTA 5, and GTA Online. Its comeback in GTA 6 continues its long legacy as one of the most tactical tools in the game.

In real life, tear gas is considered a non-lethal crowd control weapon, but in GTA 6, it’s far more dangerous.

When deployed, the gas creates a toxic cloud that damages anyone inside it over time — and if enemies stay too long, it can even kill them.

NPCs caught in the gas cloud will cough, cover their faces, and try to escape, making tear gas not only a weapon but also a useful distraction tool.

It’s especially effective for forcing enemies out of cover or controlling large groups without direct gunfire.

While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially confirmed the Tear Gas for GTA 6, it was spotted in the September 2022 leaks, strongly suggesting that it will return as part of the game’s throwable weapon lineup.
