The GTA 6 trailer was a huge deal when it dropped in 2023, and it’s still making waves in 2024.
Grand Theft Auto fans have watched it over and over, sharing their thoughts all across social media.
Recently, an X user named @GTAVI_Countdown pointed out some mistakes Rockstar Games made in the trailer.
Here are the 7 mistakes they found:
1) Lucia’s Hair Doesn’t Move Right
In one scene, Lucia’s hair doesn’t match the speed of the car she’s in. Even though the car is going fast, her hair barely moves, which seems unrealistic.
2) Low-Resolution Graphics
The GTA 6 trailer looks amazing at first, but if you look closely, you might notice some small issues. The user noticed that Rockstar used low-resolution textures in some parts, which caused Lucia’s arm and the car seat to look a bit rough.
3) Repeated Objects
The user also mentioned that the GTA 6 map shows some objects that are repeated. In one scene, a car crashes, and some water barrels roll away. If you look carefully, you’ll see that four of those barrels look exactly the same, even though they’re in different places.
4) Missing Shadows and Pixelated Hair
In another scene, the necklace on a character doesn’t cast a shadow, and the hair looks pixelated when it moves. These are small details, but they stood out to some fans.
5) Clipping Through Clothes
This mistake is easy to miss, but the user noticed that in one scene, an NPC’s clothes clip through their body because the collision effects weren’t applied.
6) Shadows and Textures Issues
GTA 6 is expected to have top-notch graphics like ray tracing. But in one part of the trailer, some NPCs don’t have shadows, and a nearby store has a flat, 2D texture inside, making it look less detailed.
7) NPC Placement Problems
Lastly, in some scenes, the NPCs are placed in weird spots. Some are even standing on water, and one road is rendered poorly, which seems like a mistake.
