Rockstar Games has released the GTA 6 launch trailer, giving fans another look at Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, and the dangerous world waiting for them in Leonida.
Released on October 15, the new footage also introduces “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new song from Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
Fans can watch the trailer now on the official Rockstar Games website, with Grand Theft Auto VI scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The new trailer opens with Jason talking about his troubled past in the Army. He explains that he did not leave on good terms and that people like him cannot get loans.
This short exchange offers another clue about Jason’s background and the problems he may face before getting caught up in Leonida’s criminal underworld.
The footage then moves through different parts of the state, showing more of Vice City and the people who live there.
Jason and Lucia remain at the center of the story, with their relationship appearing to play an important role as they get pulled deeper into crime.
According to Rockstar’s official description, the pair already know that life is stacked against them.
When an easy job goes wrong, they find themselves caught in a criminal conspiracy that stretches across Leonida. They must rely on each other if they hope to survive.
The trailer also offers glimpses of the game’s action, including armed confrontations, criminal operations, and the kind of dangerous situations players can expect to encounter.

While it does not reveal every detail about the story or gameplay, it gives fans another taste of Rockstar’s cinematic approach to Grand Theft Auto.
The biggest announcement alongside the trailer is the music.
French electronic duo Justice has composed the original score for GTA 6, and the new track “Flower in a Hurricane” features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
The song is also part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack release. Rockstar says the track is available through the soundtrack, which can be pre-saved on major music streaming services and pre-ordered on vinyl or CD.
The studio has also asked fans to stay tuned for more information about the game’s music, including the official score album.
Music has always played a major role in the Grand Theft Auto series, helping define its settings and giving each game its own identity.

With Vice City inspired by Miami and the wider state of Florida, the soundtrack will be an important part of bringing Leonida to life.
The launch trailer also arrives as fans continue to examine every new detail Rockstar shares, from Jason’s military history to the relationship between the two protagonists.
With the release date getting closer, each new look at the game is giving players more to discuss.
