GTA 6 fans have started speculating that Rockstar Games might allow players to enter 70% of the buildings in the upcoming game.
This exciting theory has been gaining traction as Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, continue to keep details about GTA 6 under wraps.
The latest trend on social media suggests that the majority of buildings in GTA 6 could be open for exploration.
This theory picked up steam when a Reddit user shared a screenshot from the GTA 6 trailer, pointing out that many garages might be enterable.
The user wrote, “This shot at 0:36 clearly shows an open garage. Does this mean most garages will be enterable? What do you guys think?”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this idea. A leaker initially suggested that a large number of buildings would be accessible when some early gameplay footage of GTA 6 leaked before the official trailer was released.
However, not everyone agrees. Some fans believe that making 70% of buildings enterable might be a challenge, especially considering the game’s expected large map size.
Another Reddit user mentioned that if around 40% of buildings were enterable, it would still be a great feature for gamers.
Earlier this year, Take-Two Interactive announced that GTA 6 is set to release in Fall 2025.
Rockstar Games later confirmed that the game will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, though they didn’t provide any information about a PC release.
The first and only trailer for GTA 6, released last year, revealed that the game will take place in a fictional version of Vice City, which is inspired by Miami.
It was also confirmed that GTA 6 will feature the first playable female character in the series.
