GTA 6 fans are once again digging through every new detail Rockstar has shared, and this time, the focus is on something that could have a huge impact on Jason and Lucia’s story.
A new discussion on the GTA 6 subreddit has fans wondering whether player choices could lead to very different outcomes for Jason and Lucia, possibly in a way similar to the honor system seen in Red Dead Redemption 2.
The idea comes from a new Dazed feature on GTA 6, which says players’ choices can have consequences that go deeper than in previous Rockstar games.
That does not mean Rockstar has officially confirmed an honor system for GTA 6, though. The wording has simply given fans plenty to think about.

The Dazed article describes GTA 6 as a much more reactive game where the world responds to what players do.
It says that walking around Vice City with a rifle, for example, could get a reaction from people around you.
The article also says the story will give players choices that can have bigger effects than previous GTA games or traditional honor systems.
That last part is what caught the attention of the GTA community.
One Reddit post asked an interesting question: what happens if Jason has low honor while Lucia has high honor, or the other way around?
It is an especially interesting idea because Jason and Lucia are not just two separate characters.
Rockstar has described GTA 6 as a story built around their relationship, with players able to experience them together or separately.
The Dazed feature also describes the game as a “Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative.”

So, if Rockstar really does have some kind of morality or relationship system behind the scenes, it could make the choices between Jason and Lucia much more important than simply picking which character to control.
The Reddit discussion quickly turned toward possible endings.
Some fans believe different levels of morality could decide whether Jason and Lucia stay together, separate, or even turn against each other.
One commenter suggested that if one character has a high score while the other has a low score, GTA 6 could potentially create an ending where one character has to kill the other, similar to some of the choices seen in GTA 5.
Another fan said they would love to see several different endings because it would give players a reason to replay the story multiple times.
And honestly, that would fit Rockstar surprisingly well.

Red Dead Redemption 2 showed how much Rockstar can do with a system that tracks the player’s behavior.
Arthur Morgan’s honor level could change how certain parts of the game felt, including dialogue, encounters and the way his story was presented.
GTA 6 could take that idea and put its own spin on it.
Instead of simply asking whether Jason or Lucia is a “good” or “bad” person, Rockstar could use the system to track how the two characters treat each other and the people around them.
Imagine playing through the game and constantly making choices that put Jason and Lucia on different paths.
Jason could become more violent while Lucia becomes more careful.
One character could become more loyal while the other starts making selfish decisions. Their relationship could slowly change based on what the player does.
That would make the game’s two protagonists feel much more connected to the player’s actions.
There is already some reason for fans to believe that relationships and player choices will matter in GTA 6.

Earlier reports and community discussions have pointed to a relationship system connected to Jason and Lucia.
A 2025 report based on information shared by leaker GameRoll claimed that a relationship bar seen in older GTA 6 footage was still present and worked in a way similar to the honor system from Red Dead Redemption 2.
However, it is important to keep expectations under control.
None of this confirms that GTA 6 will have a traditional “Honor” meter like Red Dead Redemption 2.
In fact, one of the top comments on the new Reddit discussion points out that the Dazed article does not actually say GTA 6 has an honor system.
Instead, it suggests that the game’s choices may have deeper consequences than systems Rockstar has used before.
That difference matters.
Rockstar could be building something completely different.
It could be a relationship system. It could be a hidden morality system. It could track Jason and Lucia separately. Or it could combine several systems to decide how certain events play out.
The most interesting possibility is that both characters could have their own values and reactions.
If that is how GTA 6 works, players might not simply be choosing what happens to the story. They could be shaping who Jason and Lucia become along the way.
And that could make the game’s ending much harder to predict.
Of course, fans are already imagining the possibilities. Some want multiple endings where both characters survive, while others are expecting Rockstar to go for something much darker.
A few Reddit users even brought up the possibility of endings where one protagonist dies because of the choices made throughout the story.
There is also a funny side to the discussion.
GTA players are used to causing absolute chaos. Robbing stores, stealing cars, shooting at police and turning Vice City into a disaster is basically part of the series’ identity.
So the idea that GTA 6 might actually remember some of those actions could create a strange situation.
What happens if you spend 30 hours trying to be a good guy, only to completely lose your reputation because you decided to cause chaos for fun?
That is exactly the kind of freedom GTA players would expect, but it could also make the consequences much more interesting.
For now, the safest way to look at this is as a strong GTA 6 theory rather than a confirmed feature.
What Rockstar has confirmed is that GTA 6 is aiming for a more reactive and believable world, with player actions having more noticeable consequences.
The new Dazed feature also makes it clear that Jason and Lucia’s relationship is a major part of the game’s story.
Whether that eventually leads to a full honor system, separate morality levels, relationship-based endings or something nobody has guessed yet remains to be seen.
Fortunately, fans do not have to wait much longer for more answers.
GTA 6’s Extended Look is scheduled for August 27 at 3 PM ET, according to Rockstar’s official website, and the game is still scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
After years of theories, leaks and speculation, Rockstar is finally getting ready to show much more of GTA 6.
And if the game’s choices really are as important as fans now suspect, the story of Jason and Lucia could end up being far more unpredictable than anyone expected.
