Fans are eagerly waiting for the third GTA VI trailer, but the exact release date is still unknown.

If you’ve been active on social media at any point in the last few years, you already know that Rockstar Games is working on the next big Grand Theft Auto game: GTA VI.

Even before Rockstar confirmed anything, everyone knew a new GTA was coming. With the massive success of GTA V, the next game will likely be one of the biggest releases in gaming history.

Rockstar Games and Their Delays

The first GTA VI trailer arrived in December 2023, hinting at a 2025 release.

But later, Rockstar delayed the game to May 2026, which is when the second trailer dropped.

Recently, GTA VI faced another delay, pushing the release even further into 2026.

Long-time Rockstar fans aren’t shocked, the company is known for taking extra time to polish its games.

But there is a bit of good news: the delay might mean that trailer three is coming soon.

When Rockstar delayed GTA VI the first time, the second trailer came shortly after.

So there’s a good chance the third trailer could appear any day now.

Rockstar Often Follows a Pattern

While nothing is confirmed, Rockstar has a habit of following a pattern with their big games.

Comicbook.com pointed out that Red Dead Redemption 2 had a similar cycle — announcement, trailer, delay, new trailer, and so on.

If Rockstar sticks to this same pattern, we might suddenly get GTA VI trailer three on a random afternoon, right when people in the UK are getting ready to leave work.

Of course, this is all just speculation, but one thing is clear: whenever the third trailer drops, it will create huge excitement.

And hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long.

For now, Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on Thursday, 19 November 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
