That’s why there’s a belief that GTA 6 will skip the PS4 and only be available on the newer PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Industry insider Tom Henderson also supports this view, stating that GTA 6 will likely be exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S due to its advanced graphics that may exceed the capabilities of the PS4.
There’s speculation that Rockstar might be delaying the release of GTA 6 to encourage players to switch from older consoles to newer ones. PS5 stock shortages were an issue initially, but the situation has improved.
Sony has also introduced the PS5 Slim, making it easier for players to get their hands on the latest PlayStation systems. Considering these factors, it seems unlikely that GTA 6 will be available on the PS4 when it eventually launches.
