Why GTA 6 Could Disappoint Xbox Players?

It seems that Xbox fans have mixed feelings about the upcoming release of GTA 6, which is expected to launch in the fall of 2025.

Why GTA 6 Could Disappoint Xbox Players?

While it’s exciting that GTA 6 is finally on the way, there’s some bad news for those who own an Xbox Series S. Rumors suggest that the game might only run at 720p on the Series S, which is the less powerful version of the current Xbox consoles.

A video from the gaming analysis group Digital Foundry hints that because the Series S has lower specs, GTA 6 might not look as good on it compared to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Since the game is expected to be extremely detailed and possibly the most expensive game ever made, playing it in a lower resolution is disappointing for many.

There’s a possibility that the Series S could use a technique called FSR reconstruction to bump up the resolution a bit, but it still wouldn’t be the same as playing the game in full HD or higher.

Naturally, fans aren’t too happy about this. Some believe that the Series S is holding back the potential of next-gen games.

One commenter even said, “I’m not trying to offend anyone who has the Series S, but that console is holding back so many games. It never should have been made.” Another added, “Supporting this console feels like a waste of time and resources.”

Of course, these are just rumors for now, so it’s best to wait for official news before getting too concerned. But if the rumors turn out to be true, it will be disappointing for Series S users.
